All MAC 10 units are equipped with a rotary or rocker switch on the electrical box. You can adjust the airflow by switching between Low, Medium, and High settings. Models with a variable speed control knob can be adjusted by rotating the knob counter-clockwise to increase speed and clockwise to lower it.
No, touching the HEPA filter will damage it and void the warranty. The protective screen is only meant to prevent accidental touches. Never place hands or tools directly on the filter media.
