- Locate the Vehicle's Fuse Box: Consult your vehicle's owner's manual or manufacturer's website to find the fuse box location. Use the included pry tool to carefully open any panels covering the fuse box.
- Determine Correct Fuse Slots: You will need to find two fuse slots: one that provides constant power (for the yellow wire) and one that provides ACC power (for the red wire, only powered when the ignition is on). Use the voltage meter to test fuse ports.
- Install Add-A-Fuse Taps:
- If using an identified fuse slot with an existing fuse, insert that fuse into the lower empty slot of the Add-A-Fuse tap with correct orientation.
- If no existing fuse, insert a new fuse into the 2nd fuse slot of the Add-A-Fuse tap.
