1. Ensure the correct plates are installed and the appliance is closed.
2. Plug the appliance into a suitable wall outlet. The red "POWER" indicator light will illuminate.
3. Turn the thermostat knob to your desired temperature setting. For most items, a medium to high setting is recommended.
4. Allow the appliance to preheat. The green "READY" indicator light will illuminate when the desired temperature is reached. This may take a few minutes.
