Uvod

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your MageGee SKY98 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. Designed for both gaming and office use, the SKY98 features a 96% layout, gasket-mounted structure, hot-swappable switches, and vibrant RGB backlighting.

• 5-Layer Sound Absorbing Filling: To further reduce noise and enhance typing comfort, the keyboard incorporates an IXPE foam pad, PORON foam, diaphragm, EVA soundproofing foam, and a silicone absorbing pad between the positioning plate, PCB, and bottom case. This suppresses hollow sounds and ensures a pleasant key press.
• Hot-Swappable Sockets & Pre-Lubed Custom Switches: The SKY98 supports 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches, allowing for easy customization. Switches can be removed and replaced in seconds. It comes equipped with MageGee's pre-lubricated Violet switches, designed for responsive and creamy typing with a lifespan of up to 70 million keystrokes.

• Stunning RGB Backlighting: Features 6 default gaming backlight effects (FN + 1 ~ FN + 6) and 18 built-in backlight modes. Brightness and speed are adjustable. A dedicated switch on the left side controls the light on/off. Custom light effects can be recorded by pressing FN + Back.

• 96% Layout and N-Key Rollover: This 99-key layout retains a separate numeric keypad and essential functions while being more compact than a full-size keyboard, saving desktop space. 100% anti-ghosting ensures every keystroke is detected accurately, even with multiple simultaneous presses.

• Wired Connection and Win/Mac Support: Connects via a detachable Type-C USB cable for stable and fast performance. It is plug-and-play compatible with both Windows and Mac systems. Press FN + Home to switch between operating systems.

Navodila za namestitev

1. Razpakirajte tipkovnico: Carefully remove the MageGee SKY98 keyboard and its accessories from the packaging.

2. Priključite USB kabel: Insert the Type-C end of the provided USB cable into the port on the keyboard.
3. Povežite se z računalnikom: Plug the standard USB-A end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer (Laptop or PC).
4. Prepoznavanje sistema: The keyboard is plug-and-play. Your operating system (Windows or Mac) should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
5. Prilagodite nožice tipkovnice: Tipkovnica ima 2tage adjustable foot pads on the underside. Adjust them to your preferred typing angle for ergonomic comfort.

Navodila za uporabo

Nadzor osvetlitve ozadja RGB

• Vklop/izklop: Use the dedicated switch on the left side of the keyboard to toggle the backlight.
• Preklop načinov svetlobe: Pritisnite FN + DEL to cycle through 18 built-in backlight modes.

System Switching (Windows/Mac)

• Switch OS Mode: Pritisnite FN + Domov to toggle between Windows and Mac operating system compatibility modes.

Stikala za vročo zamenjavo

• Odstranite pokrovček tipke: S priloženim snemalnikom nežno odstranite želeno tipkovnico.
• Odstranite stikalo: Use the included switch puller to carefully grip and pull out the switch.
• Vstavi novo stikalo: Align the pins of the new 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switch with the holes on the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
• Zamenjajte pokrovček tipke: Namestite pokrovček tipke nazaj na novo stikalo.

Vzdrževanje

• Čiščenje: Regularly clean the keyboard with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps and use compressed air to clear debris. Avoid liquid cleaners directly on the keyboard.
• Shranjevanje: Tipkovnico shranjujte na hladnem in suhem mestu, stran od neposredne sončne svetlobe in ekstremnih temperatur.
• Skrb za kabel: Handle the detachable USB-C cable with care. Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling to prevent damage.

Odpravljanje težav

• Tipkovnica se ne odziva:
  • Prepričajte se, da je kabel USB-C varno priključen na tipkovnico in računalnik.
  • Poskusite tipkovnico priključiti na drug USB vhod na računalniku.
  • Znova zaženite računalnik.
  • Test the keyboard on another computer if possible to rule out system-specific issues.
• Osvetlitev ozadja ne deluje:
  • Check the backlight on/off switch on the left side of the keyboard.

  • Try cycling through different light modes (FN + DEL).

  • This could indicate a faulty switch. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace the problematic switch.

• Incorrect Key Layout (Mac/Windows):
