2. Namestitev

2.1 Antenna Placement Considerations

The location of the antenna significantly affects positioning accuracy. It is recommended to install the antenna at a higher position to obtain better satellite signals, especially if your yard has the following features:

• Poor satellite signal in narrow paths connecting different parts of the yard.
• Lawn areas tightly surrounded by buildings or other structures that obstruct satellite view.

After installation, it is essential to create a new map for your lawn to ensure the mower operates with the updated antenna positioning data.

2.2 Installing the GNSS Antenna on a Wall or Roof

Follow these steps to install the GNSS antenna on a wall or roof:

1. Unpack the Antenna Extension Kit components.
2. Assemble the antenna and the pole. Ensure the antenna is pointing upwards and has a clear 110° view neba.
3. Secure the installation base to your chosen wall or roof location using the provided expansion tubes and self-tapping screws.
4. Attach the assembled antenna and pole to the secured base.
5. Route the extension cable from the antenna to the charging station, ensuring it is secured and protected from damage.

2.3 Installing the GNSS Antenna on the Ground

If ground installation is preferred, ensure the chosen location is unobstructed and provides a broad view of the sky. The extension cable allows for flexible placement up to 30 meters from the charging station.

1. Assemble the antenna kit components as per the Quick Start Guide.
2. Place the charging station on a flat area of the lawn, ensuring at least 2 meters of open space to the left, right, and front of the station.
3. Use the provided Allen wrench and screws to anchor the charging station securely to the ground.
4. Connect the antenna cable and the power supply cable to the charging station, ensuring tight connections.
5. If the GPS signal is stable, the lights on the charging station and the mower will turn green (or blue if the mower is not on the charging station).

3. Operation with Enhanced Signal

Once the Antenna Extension Kit is correctly installed and the GPS signal is stable, your Navimow robotic mower will benefit from improved positioning accuracy. This allows for more efficient and precise mowing, especially in complex lawn layouts.

Remember to create a new map for your lawn through the Navimow app after installing the antenna in a new location. This ensures the mower accurately understands its new operational boundaries and optimal mowing paths.
