The Sidekick Sear features matchless ignition. To ignite, ensure the propane tank valve is open. Push and turn the control knob to the 'HIGH' position. You should hear an ignition click and the burner should light. If it does not light, turn the knob to 'OFF', wait 5 minutes, and repeat the process.
