Uvod

This manual provides instructions for the proper use and maintenance of your ZEISS Terra ED 10x25 Compact Pocket Binoculars and the included ZEISS Spray and Microfiber Lens Care Kit. Please read these instructions carefully before using the products to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

ZEISS Terra ED 10x25 Binoculars

1. Nastavitev in začetna prilagoditev

Before first use, adjust the binoculars to your individual eye distance and vision.

   • Zaprite levo oko.
   • Look through the right eyepiece.
   • Rotate the diopter adjustment ring (usually on the right eyepiece) until the object appears sharp.
   • Now, with both eyes open, the image should be clear. Use only the central focusing wheel for subsequent focusing.

• Fokusiranje: Once the diopter is set, use the central focusing wheel to bring objects into sharp focus. The binoculars offer a wide field of view and a close focus distance of approximately 6.2 feet (1.9 meters), allowing for observation of nearby subjects as well as distant ones.
• Okularji: Extend the eyecups for use without eyeglasses. Retract them if you wear eyeglasses to ensure a full field of view.

3. Maintenance and Care for Binoculars

To ensure the longevity and performance of your binoculars:

• Keep the objective and ocular lenses clean. Use the provided ZEISS cleaning kit for best results.
• Store the binoculars in their protective case when not in use to prevent dust and scratches.
• Avoid exposing the binoculars to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods.
• The housing is robust and designed to protect the internal optics. Avoid dropping or subjecting the binoculars to severe impacts.

ZEISS Spray and Microfiber Lens Care Kit

The included cleaning kit is designed for safe and effective cleaning of all premium optics, including your binoculars.

1. Remove Loose Dust: Gently blow any loose dust or particles off the lens surface. Avoid wiping dry lenses, as this can cause scratches.
2. Nanesite sprej: Spray a small amount of the ZEISS lens cleaning solution onto the microfiber cloth. Do not spray directly onto the lens surface.
3. Wipe Lenses: Gently wipe the lens surface with the damp microfiber cloth in a circular motion, starting from the center and moving outwards.
4. Suho: Use a clean, dry part of the microfiber cloth to gently buff the lens until it is clear and streak-free.

Pomembno: Always use the provided microfiber cloth or a similar high-quality, lint-free cloth. Avoid using paper towels, tissues, or clothing, as these can scratch lens coatings.

  • Ensure the central focusing wheel is adjusted correctly for the object's distance.
  • Verify the diopter setting is correct for your eyes (refer to Setup section).
  • Check if lenses are clean and free from smudges or dust.
