2. Nastavitev

2.1 Napajanje naprave

The DR-40X operates on three AAA batteries. Insert the batteries into the compartment located on the rear of the unit, ensuring correct polarity. The device can also be powered via a micro USB cable connected to a computer or a USB power adapter.

2.2 Vstavljanje pomnilniške kartice

The DR-40X records to SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards (up to 128GB). Locate the SD card slot on the side of the unit. Insert the memory card until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

3.1 Snemanje zvoka

To begin recording, ensure a memory card is inserted and the device is powered on. Adjust the input level using the + and - buttons to prevent clipping (distortion). Press the SNEMANJE button once to arm recording (standby mode), and press it again to start recording.

3.1.1 Using Built-in Microphones

The DR-40X features adjustable stereo condenser microphones. They can be configured in two positions:

• A-B Position: For a wider stereo image, suitable for ambient recordings.
• X-Y Position: For a tighter, more focused stereo image, ideal for capturing specific sound sources.

Gently pivot the microphone capsules to switch between these configurations.

3.2 Predvajanje
