2. Apply a few drops of the sample liquid to the sample well, ensuring the prism surface is fully covered without air bubbles.
3. Pritisnite START/ON gumb.
4. The measurement reading will be displayed on the LCD screen.
5. Record the reading if necessary.
6. Obrišite sample from the well immediately after measurement to prevent residue buildup.

5.3. Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC)

Atago ES-421 features a built-in thermistor that automatically compensates for temperature variations within its specified range (up to 40°C). This ensures accurate readings without manual temperature correction tables.

6. Vzdrževanje

6.1. Cleaning the Sample No

After each use, clean the sample well and prism surface thoroughly with a soft, lint-free cloth or tissue. For stubborn residues, a small amount of distilled water or a mild cleaning solution compatible with the prism material can be used, followed by drying.

6.2. Shranjevanje

Store the refractometer in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and corrosive chemicals. If storing for an extended period, remove the 9V battery to prevent leakage.

6.3. Zamenjava baterije

When the low-battery indicator appears on the display, replace the 9V battery following the instructions in Section 4.1.

7. Odpravljanje težav

Atago ES-421 provides error messages to assist in troubleshooting common issues:

• Nizka baterija: The display will indicate a low battery. Replace the 9V battery as soon as possible to ensure accurate operation.
