4.1. Step 1: Connect the Control Unit
- Attach the mechanical timer (1) to your outdoor tap. Ensure a secure, watertight connection.
- Connect the pressure regulator (2) to the outlet of the mechanical timer. This regulates water pressure for optimal drip performance.

4.2. Step 2: Lay the Pipeline
- Connect the 4mm diameter hose to the outlet of the pressure regulator.
- Lay the hose around your potted plants, cutting it to appropriate lengths as needed to reach each pot. Use the provided connectors to create branches or extend the pipeline (3, 4).
- Ensure the hose is positioned discreetly and securely.

4.3. Step 3: Install Drippers
- At each plant pot location, insert a dripper with its stake (5) into the soil near the base of the plant.
- Connect the 4mm hose directly to the dripper. Ensure the connection is firm to prevent leaks.
- Repeat for all 15 pots.

5.1. Mechanical Timer Operation
The Hozelock mechanical timer allows for simple, manual control of your watering schedule:
- To activate watering, manually turn the dial on the timer to the desired duration. The timer can be set for periods ranging from 5 minutes up to 120 minutes.
- Once the set time elapses, the timer will automatically shut off the water flow.
- This timer requires manual activation for each watering cycle. It does not feature automatic daily programming.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your drip watering kit:
- Preverite blokade: Periodically inspect drippers for any debris or mineral buildup that might restrict water flow. Clean them as necessary.
