Before first use, fully charge the vacuum for a minimum of 3.5 hours. Connect the charger to the docking station or directly to the vacuum's battery port. The indicator light will turn off when fully charged.

Converting to Handheld Mode
To convert the vacuum into a handheld unit, press the red release button at the top of the extension wand and pull the wand away from the main motor unit. Empty the dust bin when the dirt reaches the MAX level mark. To empty, hold the vacuum over a trash can, then slide the red dirt removal button down to release the bin flap. Shake out the contents. For thorough cleaning, the clear bin can be detached by sliding the red dirt removal button all the way down while tilting the clear bin away from the motor.
