1. To turn on the scale, lightly tap the central push button with your foot or press it with your hand. The display will show "0.0" or "0.00".
2. Step onto the weighing platform barefoot and stand still.
3. Your weight will be displayed on both screens. The scale will automatically hold the reading (Auto-HOLD function).
4. Step off the scale. The display will remain active for a few seconds before automatically switching off (Automatic switch-off function).

5.2. Unit Switch-over (kg/lbs)

The scale allows for switching between kilograms (kg) and pounds (lbs). The switch is typically located on the underside of the scale or accessible via a button on the display unit. Refer to the markings near the switch for specific instructions.

5.3. Mother/Child Function

The 2-in-1 Mother/Child function allows for accurate weighing of infants or small children while held by an adult.

1. First, weigh the adult alone following the basic weighing instructions (Section 5.1).
2. Once the adult's weight is displayed and held, press the designated Mother/Child button (often integrated with the main push button or a separate button). The display will reset to "0.0" or "0.00" while retaining the adult's weight in memory.
3. Step onto the scale again, this time holding the child.
4. The display will now show only the child's weight.
5. Step off the scale. The scale will automatically switch off after a short period.
