4.1. Portable Chime Unit Features

5.1. Installing Batteries in the Chime Unit

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the portable chime unit.

5.2. Installing Battery in the Push Button

1. The CR2032 battery is typically pre-installed. If not, open the push button casing (usually by gently prying it open with a small screwdriver).

5.3. Namestitev gumba

The push button is designed for outdoor use and can be mounted using screws or the provided adhesive pad.

1. Choose a suitable location near your door, ensuring it is easily accessible to visitors.

5.4. Pairing (Automatic Learning)

The Byron BYR301 features automatic learning. Typically, the push button and chime unit are pre-paired at the factory. If they do not connect automatically, or if you are adding another push button, follow these steps:

1. Ensure both the chime unit and push button have fresh batteries installed.
2. Press and hold the pairing button (refer to the chime unit diagram for location, usually a small button or switch) on the chime unit until it emits a short sound or its indicator light flashes.
3. Within 10 seconds, press the wireless push button. The chime unit should sound, indicating successful pairing.
4. Test the connection by pressing the push button. The chime unit should sound.

6.1. Spreminjanje melodij

The chime unit offers 8 different melodies. To change the melody:

• Locate the melody selection button on the chime unit (refer to Figure 4.1).
• Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the available melodies. The chime unit will play each melody as you select it.

The chime unit has 4 volume levels. To adjust the volume:

• Locate the volume control button on the chime unit (refer to Figure 4.1).

6.3. Using the Flashing Light

The chime unit features an optional flashing light for a visual alert.

• The flashing light activates automatically when the chime sounds.
• There is typically no separate control for the flashing light; it operates in conjunction with the chime.

• Zvonček: Replace the 3 x C batteries when the chime sound becomes weak or the unit stops functioning. Follow the steps in Section 5.1.
