Before beginning installation, ensure your shed's floor frame is perfectly level and square. This is critical for proper anchoring and structural integrity.
- Prepare the Corner Gussets: Attach the four corner gussets to the shed's floor frame at each corner. These gussets provide the attachment points for the earth anchors.
- Position the Earth Anchors: Place one corkscrew type earth anchor through the designated hole in each corner gusset.
- Twist Anchors into Ground: Use a steel bar or iron pipe inserted through the eyelet of the corkscrew anchor for leverage. Twist the anchor clockwise into the ground until the eyelet is flush with the corner gusset. Ensure the anchor is fully embedded and secure.
- Secure with Locking Washers: Once the anchor is fully twisted into the ground, slide a locking washer over the eyelet of the anchor, securing it tightly against the gusset. This prevents the anchor from backing out.
- Preverite stabilnost: After all four anchors are installed, gently test the shed's stability to ensure it is firmly secured to the ground.

The Earth Anchor Kit operates passively by providing a secure foundation for your shed. Once installed, no further operational steps are required. Its primary function is to resist uplift and shifting caused by wind or other environmental factors, keeping your shed firmly in place.

Regular inspection of the anchor points is recommended, especially after severe weather conditions. Check for any signs of loosening, corrosion, or damage to the anchors, gussets, or locking washers. Tighten any loose connections as needed. The steel components are designed for durability, but a visual check ensures continued security.

- Corrosion on Components: While made of steel, prolonged exposure to moisture can lead to surface rust. Clean affected areas and apply a rust-inhibiting paint or coating if necessary to extend product life.
