5. Nastavitev

5.1 Namestitev baterije

1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the protractor.
2. Open the battery cover. For some models, this may require unscrewing small screws.
3. Vstavite dve (2) bateriji AAA in pazite na pravilno polarnost (+/-).
4. Varno zaprite pokrov baterije.

Note: Batteries are not included in the package. Please use 2 pieces of AAA batteries.

6. Delovanje

6.1 Vklop/izklop

• Pritisnite VKLOP/IZKLOP button briefly to turn the device on or off.

6.2 Absolutna meritev

When the device is powered on, it defaults to absolute measurement mode, displaying the angle relative to the true horizontal plane.

6.3 Relative Measurement (ZERO Function)

• Place the protractor on a reference surface.
• Pritisnite NIČ button briefly. The display will show "0.00", indicating that this surface is now set as the new reference for relative measurements.

6.4 Funkcija zadrževanja podatkov

• During measurement, briefly press the HOLD/Tilt% button. The current reading will be frozen on the display, indicated by a "HOLD" icon, allowing for convenient reading.
• Pritisnite HOLD/Tilt% button again to release the hold and resume live measurement.

6.5 Unit Conversion (Degrees / Tilt%)

• Pritisnite in držite HOLD/Tilt% button for a few seconds. The unit of measurement will switch between degrees (°) and tilt percentage (%).

6.6 Dual Axis Measurement

The protractor can display angles for both X and Y axes simultaneously when in dual-axis mode. The display will show X:±XX.XX and Y:±YY.YY, along with a bubble level graphic.

7. Vzdrževanje

• Shranjevanje: Store the protractor in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and strong magnetic fields.
• Vzdrževanje baterije: If the product will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage.
• Ravnanje: This is a precision instrument. Avoid dropping, colliding, or striking the device, as this can affect its accuracy and cause physical damage.
• Okoljski pogoji: Do not use or store the device in environments with excessive moisture or direct exposure to water (unless it is an IP65 rated model like 5515-90FS).

8. Odpravljanje težav

• Netočni odčitki: If you suspect the accuracy is compromised, try recalibrating by performing a ZERO operation on a known level surface. Ensure the device is not exposed to strong magnetic fields or extreme temperatures. If issues persist, contact customer support.
• Zaslon ne deluje: Preverite, ali so baterije pravilno vstavljene in ali so dovolj napolnjene. Po potrebi zamenjajte baterije.
• Gumbi se ne odzivajo: Ensure the device is not in a 'HOLD' state if you are trying to change modes. If buttons remain unresponsive after a battery change, contact support.
• Samodejni izklop prehitro: The device is designed to shut off after 3 minutes of inactivity to save power. This is normal behavior.

• For best accuracy, always perform a ZERO calibration on the reference surface before taking relative measurements.
