The Beok TRV-705ZB is a smart thermostatic radiator valve designed to provide precise and programmable control over your home's heating system. It supports both Wi-Fi and Zigbee connectivity (depending on the model) and can be integrated with smart home platforms like Tuya Smart, Smart Life, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home for convenient remote and voice control.

2. Nastavitev in namestitev

2.1. Power Supply (Batteries)

The TRV is powered by three 1.5V alkaline AA batteries (not included).

1. Press the battery compartment lock and remove the cover by pushing it downwards.
2. Insert 3 new LR6 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

2.2. Installation of Adapters

The TRV has a standard M30 x 1.5mm connection. If your radiator valve connector type is not M30 x 1.5, you will need to use one of the provided adapters.

Refer to the diagrams below for common adapter types:

Note: The valve must be installed correctly, or an F5 error code will be displayed.

2.3. Installation of the Radiator Thermostat

1. After installing any necessary adapter, screw the radiator thermostat onto the valve.
2. Once powered on, press the Mode key "88". The display will show a flickering "88", indicating an adapting run to calibrate the thermostat to the valve.
3. The display will then show ". ns," while the motor travels back.
4. When ". ns," disappears, the radiator thermostat is ready.
5. You can adjust the angle of the TRV to ensure the LED display faces you properly.

2.4. Software Installation and App Control

The TRV can be controlled via the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app, and integrated with voice assistants.

1. Prenesite aplikacijo Pametno življenje: Scan the QR code below or search "Smart Life" on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to download the app.

2. Registration or Login:
   • If you are a new user, tap "Register" and create an account using your phone number or email. Follow the prompts to get a verification code and set a password.
   • If you already have a Smart Life account, tap "Log in".
3. Dodaj napravo:

   There are two ways to enter network setting mode:

   • In customized mode, press the "-" button until the screen displays "IZKLOP" in "". Then, press and hold the Mode key "88" for 3 seconds until "" is blinking.
   • When the screen lights up, press and hold the "Set button" for 3 seconds until ":" is blinking.

   Attention: Please ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone, and the Smart Life app has access to Bluetooth.

   Once the device is in pairing mode:

   1. Enter the "Home" interface of the app, click "+" in the upper right corner, and select "Add Device".
   2. The system will automatically search for and find the device. Click "Add".
   3. Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password, then click "Next".
   4. Wait for the device to be added successfully, then click "Done" to finish the installation.

3.1. Nastavitev temperature

Pritisnite gumb "+" ali "-" buttons to adjust the temperature in 0.5°C increments.

3.2. Temperature Control Modes

Press the Mode key "88" briefly to switch between Programming mode and the four standard modes.

Standard Modes:

• Udobni način (20°C): Used when you are in the room. The radiator heats to maintain the selected setpoint temperature.
• Način ECO (15°C): Used when the room is not in use. Saves energy by lowering the temperature 5°C below the setpoint, preventing unnecessary energy usage.
• Frost Protection Mode (5°C): Used in cold regions to prevent pipes from freezing by maintaining a stable temperature of 5°C.
• OFF Mode (Frost-protection activated): Closes the valve when a room is not to be heated. Press "-" until "IZKLOP" in "" are displayed. Frost protection remains active: the valve opens below 5°C and closes above 7°C.

  Attention: Manually pressing "-" or switching to programming mode will deactivate ON/OFF mode.

Način programiranja:

• When "" is displayed, the device is in programming mode. Temperature is controlled according to the smart schedule set in the app.
• Up to 6 programs can be set per day, for 7 days a week, based on the standard modes.
• Manual changes in this mode are active until the next scheduled change, after which the defined schedule resumes.

Prilagojen način:

• When "" is not displayed, the device is in customized mode.
• Temperature is controlled by the current setting via "+" ali "-" until the next manual change.
• Pozor: Customized mode is only available after network configuration.

Način počitnic:

• Set this mode via the app when on vacation. Specify the duration, and the device will activate Frost Protection mode.
• After the duration, it automatically switches back to the previous mode.
• When active, "" in "+" are displayed.

Način povečanja:

• Activates rapid heating. Specify the duration, and the device switches to Comfort mode.
• After the duration, it reverts to the previous mode. Automatically deactivates if the device is powered off.
• When active, "BOOST" is displayed.
• To exit Vacation/Boost mode, press and hold the Mode key "88" za 3 sekunde.

3.3. Vrtenje zaslona

Press the "Set button" briefly to rotate the screen orientation by 180 degrees for better viewing.

3.4. Child-Lock Function

To prevent unintended changes, activate the child-lock.

• To activate/deactivate: Press and hold the Mode key "88" for 3 seconds. The "" icon will appear/disappear on the screen.

3.5. Window Opening Detection

During heating, if the device detects a room temperature drop of more than 1.5°C within 5 minutes, it activates window opening detection and stops heating. The valve closes for 30 minutes, and the screen displays "".

This detection can be cancelled by:

• Setting the temperature or changing the mode on the App or the device.
• If the detected temperature rises by more than 1.5°C within 4.5 minutes.
• It will exit automatically after 30 minutes if no action is taken.

3.6. Anti-Calcification Protection

The device automatically runs for a period of time every Monday at 12:00 to prevent calcification of the valve. During this process, "KAL" will be displayed on the screen.

4. Vzdrževanje

4.1. Zamenjava baterije

When the battery power is less than 20%, the low battery symbol "" will flash on the display. It is recommended to replace the batteries as soon as possible.

Follow the steps in Section 2.1 to replace the batteries.

4.2. Obnovitev tovarniških nastavitev

To restore the device to its original factory settings:

1. Press and hold the Mode key "88".
2. While holding the Mode key, insert the batteries.
3. Continue holding until "FAC" is displayed on the screen and blinks for 3 seconds.
4. The device will then restart with factory settings.

Attention: Restoring factory settings will erase all previous configurations.

4.3. Power Failure Memory Function

The device retains its current working mode and resumes it after a power outage, ensuring continuous operation without needing to reconfigure settings.

• Gateway for Zigbee: Remember that the Zigbee model requires a Zigbee gateway to connect to your smart home network and app. Ensure your gateway is properly set up and connected.
• Temperaturna histereza: The device features a minimum temperature hysteresis of only ±0.5°C, providing precise temperature control and comfort.
