1. Uvod

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your ENGWE Y600 Electric Scooter. Please read it thoroughly before your first ride and keep it for future reference.

2. Vsebina paketa

Upon unboxing, ensure all components are present and in good condition. The package should include:

3. Postavitev in montaža

Your ENGWE Y600 Electric Scooter comes 90% pre-installed. Follow these steps for final assembly and initial setup:

  1. Razstavljanje skuterja: Unlock the folding mechanism and carefully raise the stem until it locks into place. Ensure the safety pin is securely engaged.
  2. Namestitev krmila: Install the right foldable handle by twisting the locking device counter-clockwise. For the left handle, twist the locking device clockwise. Ensure both are securely fastened.
  3. Adjusting Standpipe Height: Adjust the stem height to your preferred riding position and secure the buckle.
  4. Prilagoditev zaslona: Adjust the angle of the display for optimal visibility and lock it up using the provided hex key.

4. Navodila za uporabo

4.1 Vklop/izklop

Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to power on the scooter. The display will light up. To power off, turn the key back to the off position.

4.2 Riding Modes & Speed Adjustment

The ENGWE Y600 offers four riding modes. Press the 'M' button on the handlebar control to cycle through different modes (e.g., ECO, Sport). The display shows your current speed in MPH or KPH. To switch between MPH and KPH, press the 'M' button on the display. The scooter has a factory speed limiter. To unlock the maximum speed (up to 28 MPH):

  1. Hold the left brake lever down.
  2. Turn on the key.
  3. Push the red mode button on the display until the LCD screen comes on.
  4. Pull down on the accelerator 3 times.
  5. The scooter is now unlocked for max speed. To re-engage the limiter, repeat these steps.

4.3 Osvetlitev in smerniki

The Y600 features an all-surrounding lighting design for enhanced visibility and safety. Use the light switch on the handlebar to activate the front headlight and ambient lighting. Utilize the turn signal controls to indicate your turns, activating the side and rear turn signals.

4.4 Zavorni sistem

The scooter is equipped with mechanical disc brakes and E-ABS for reliable stopping power. Apply both brake levers evenly for smooth and controlled braking.

4.5 Zlaganje in odvijanje

The Y600 features a convenient foldable design for easy storage and transport. To fold, ensure the scooter is powered off, then follow the folding mechanism instructions. To unfold, reverse the process, ensuring all locking mechanisms click securely into place.

5. Features & Technology

5.1 Powerful Motor & Battery

The ENGWE Y600 is equipped with a 500W brushless rear hub motor (830W peak power) delivering 28Nm of torque for fast acceleration and a maximum 15° hill climbing ability. It reaches a top speed of 28 MPH. The 48V 18AH battery provides a maximum range of 43.5 miles on a single charge, with a fast charging time of 7-8 hours using the 54.6V 2A charger.

5.2 Advanced Suspension System

Experience a smooth ride with the triple shock absorber system, featuring front and rear dual shock absorbers that effectively absorb bumps and vibrations. Coupled with 10x2.75 inch big fat vacuum tires, the scooter adapts to various terrains, ensuring comfort even on bumpy trails.

5.3 Intelligent Battery Management System (BMS)

The integrated BMS ensures the safety and optimal performance of the battery. It provides multiple protections including short circuit, overcurrent, over-charge, over-temperature, and undervoltage zaščito.

5.4 Vodoodpornost IPX5

The ENGWE Y600 features an IPX5 waterproof rating, allowing you to ride confidently in light rain and navigate through puddles. However, for safety and longevity, it is recommended to enjoy your ride in fair weather conditions.

6. Vzdrževanje

Redno vzdrževanje zagotavlja dolgo življenjsko dobo in varno delovanje vašega skuterja.

  • Pnevmatike: Regularly check tire pressure (refer to tire sidewall for recommended PSI) and inspect for wear or damage.
  • Zavore: Redno preverjajte obrabo zavornih ploščic in diskov. Prepričajte se, da zavorne ročice delujejo gladko in zagotavljajo zadostno zavorno moč.
  • Baterija: Po vsaki uporabi baterijo popolnoma napolnite. Pazite, da baterijo popolnoma ne izpraznite. Ko skuterja dalj časa ne uporabljate, ga shranite na hladnem in suhem mestu.
