Nastavitev in namestitev
Before installation, ensure your motorcycle's engine is cool and the carburetor is accessible. Refer to your motorcycle's service manual for specific carburetor access procedures.
Vsebina paketa:
- 1 x Mixture Screw
- 2 x O-tesnila
- 1 x vzmet
Koraki namestitve:
- Prepare the Carburetor: Locate the existing air-fuel mixture screw on your carburetor. This is typically found near the float bowl.
- Odstranite stari vijak: Carefully remove the old air-fuel mixture screw, noting the order of any washers, O-rings, and springs. It is recommended to count the number of turns required to fully seat the old screw before removal, as this can provide a starting point for adjustment with the new screw.
- Assemble New Screw: Place one O-ring onto the new mixture screw, followed by the washer, and then the spring. Ensure they are seated correctly.
- Namestite nov vijak: Carefully insert the assembled mixture screw into the carburetor. Turn it clockwise until it lightly seats. Do not overtighten.
- Začetna prilagoditev: Turn the screw counter-clockwise (out) by the number of turns noted during removal of the old screw, or as recommended by your motorcycle's service manual for initial setup. A common starting point is 1.5 to 2.5 turns out from lightly seated.

No modification, cutting, or drilling is required for installation.
Upravljanje in prilagajanje
The air-fuel mixture screw controls the amount of fuel delivered at idle and off-idle throttle positions. Proper adjustment is crucial for optimal engine performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions.
Postopek prilagajanja:
- Warm Up Engine: Start the motorcycle and allow it to reach normal operating temperature.
- Set Idle Speed: Adjust the idle speed to the manufacturer's specification using the main idle speed screw.
- Adjust Mixture Screw: Slowly turn the air-fuel mixture screw clockwise (in) until the engine RPM begins to drop or run rough. Note this position.
- Find Peak RPM: Slowly turn the screw counter-clockwise (out) until the engine RPM begins to drop or run rough again. Note this position.
- Set Optimal Position: Set the screw to the midpoint between the two points where the RPM dropped. This is typically the leanest setting that produces the highest idle RPM.
- Re-adjust Idle Speed: After adjusting the mixture screw, the idle speed may have increased. Re-adjust the main idle speed screw to the manufacturer's specification.
- Fina nastavitev: For optimal performance, further fine-tuning may be required based on riding conditions, altitude, and fuel type. Small adjustments (1/8 to 1/4 turn) can significantly impact performance.

Figure 5: The easy-grip knob allows for manual adjustment of the air-fuel mixture without requiring additional tools.

The laser-etched numbers on the knob assist in tracking adjustments for precise tuning and memory.
Vzdrževanje
The Haosie Air Fuel Mixture Screw is constructed from durable CNC machined aluminum with an anodized finish, designed for long-term use and resistance to corrosion and rust.
- Redni pregled: Periodically inspect the screw and its O-rings for any signs of wear, damage, or degradation.
- Čiščenje: If the screw becomes dirty, gently clean it with a soft cloth and a mild, non-corrosive cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials that could damage the anodized finish.
- Zamenjava O-tesnila: If the O-rings appear cracked, brittle, or flattened, replace them to ensure a proper seal and prevent air leaks.
- Mazanje: A small amount of silicone grease or petroleum jelly can be applied to the O-rings during installation or re-installation to aid in seating and sealing.

Odpravljanje težav
If you encounter issues after installing the air fuel mixture screw, consider the following common problems and solutions:
| Težava | Možen vzrok | rešitev |
|---|---|---|
| Screw does not fit or thread properly. | Incorrect screw size or thread pitch for your carburetor model. | Verify compatibility with your specific Keihin FCR or FCR-MX carburetor model. Ensure the correct part was ordered. |
| Spring is too stiff or too long. | Spring provided is not optimal for your carburetor's design. | Ensure all components (screw, O-rings, washer, spring) are correctly assembled. If the spring is genuinely too long, it may prevent proper seating or adjustment. |
| Missing components (O-rings, spring, washer). | Packaging error or components lost during handling. | Check the package thoroughly. Contact customer support if components are missing. |
| Engine runs poorly after installation. | Incorrect air-fuel mixture adjustment; air leak around the screw. | Re-perform the operating and adjustment procedure carefully. Ensure O-rings are properly seated and not damaged, creating a seal. |
