3. Nastavitev in priprava
3.1 Namestitev baterij
Insert the 2 AAA batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the meter, ensuring correct polarity.
3.2 Preparing the Lancing Device

- Twist off the protective cap from the lancet and save it for safe disposal.

4. Operating Instructions (Blood Glucose Test)
- Umijte in posušite roke: Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water, then dry them completely before testing.
- Vstavite testni listič: Insert the test strip into the meter. The meter will automatically turn on and display a blood drop symbol.
- Pridobite kri Sample: Press the lancing device firmly against the side of your fingertip and press the release button. A small drop of blood will form.
- Nanesite Blood Sample: Gently touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop. The blood will be automatically drawn into the strip. The meter requires only 0.6 µL of blood. If the first sample is insufficient, you have 5 seconds to apply a second drop to the same strip.
- Rezultati branja: The meter will count down from 5 seconds and then display your blood glucose result in mg/dL.
- Rezultati snemanja: The meter automatically stores up to 99 test results with date and time.

5. Vzdrževanje in nega

Wipe the meter exterior with a soft, damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent or 70% isopropyl alcohol. Do not immerse the meter in water or use harsh cleaning agents.
5.2 Shranjevanje
Store the meter, test strips, and lancing device in their original carrying case in a cool, dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the test strip vial is tightly closed after each use.
5.3 Disposal of Used Materials
Used lancets and test strips are biohazardous waste. Always dispose of them in a puncture-resistant sharps container according to local regulations. Never reuse lancets or test strips.
