1. Uvod

Thank you for choosing the TecTake Offset Hexagonal Umbrella. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new umbrella. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

2. Varnostna navodila

• Always ensure the umbrella base is properly weighted and stable. This umbrella requires 4 base plates (40 x 40 cm, 25 kg each) for optimal stability.
• Do not use the umbrella in strong winds, heavy rain, or other severe weather conditions. Close and secure the umbrella to prevent damage or injury.
• Keep children and pets away from the umbrella during opening and closing operations.
• Avoid placing the umbrella near open flames or heat sources.
• Regularly inspect all parts for wear, damage, or loose connections. Do not use if any part is damaged.
• Ensure sufficient clearance around the umbrella when opening and closing to avoid obstructions.

4. Nastavitev in montaža

Follow these steps to assemble your TecTake Offset Hexagonal Umbrella:

1. Razpakirajte komponente: Previdno vzemite vse dele iz embalaže in jih položite na čisto, ravno površino.
2. Sestavite osnovo: Connect the base components according to the diagrams in the separate assembly instructions. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
3. Add Base Weights: Place four 40 x 40 cm, 25 kg base plates onto the cross base to provide necessary stability. (Base plates are not included and must be purchased separately).
4. Pritrdite glavno palico: Insert the main pole into the assembled base. Secure it with the provided fasteners.
5. Mount the Umbrella Arm: Attach the offset umbrella arm to the main pole. Ensure the connection is firm and stable.
6. Unfold the Canopy: Gently unfold the umbrella canopy.

5. Navodila za uporabo

5.1 Opening the Umbrella

1. Ensure the area around the umbrella is clear.
2. Locate the crank handle on the main pole.
3. Turn the crank handle clockwise to slowly open the umbrella canopy until it is fully extended. Do not force the crank if resistance is met.

5.2 Nastavitev naklona

1. Locate the tilt adjustment lever or button on the umbrella arm.
2. Press or release the mechanism and gently adjust the canopy to the desired angle.
3. Ensure the tilt mechanism is securely locked in place after adjustment.

5.3 Closing the Umbrella

1. Ensure the tilt is returned to its neutral position if applicable.
2. Turn the crank handle counter-clockwise to slowly retract the umbrella canopy until it is fully closed.
3. Secure the closed canopy with the integrated strap or tie to prevent it from opening unexpectedly.

7. Shranjevanje

When not in use for extended periods, or during the off-season, store the umbrella in a dry, protected area. Ensure the canopy is clean and completely dry before covering it with the protective cover. Store the umbrella in its closed position.

• Umbrella is unstable: Ensure the base is properly assembled and weighted with the recommended base plates. Check that all connections are tight.
