The Primary E Phono is designed to deliver high-fidelity audio playback from your vinyl records, featuring a built-in phono stage, an 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm, and a pre-mounted Ortofon OM NN cartridge, all housed in a matte black finish.

Nastavitev

1. Umestitev

Place the turntable on a stable, level surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and strong vibrations. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for ventilation and operation of the dust cover.

2. Namestitev krožnika in traku

  1. Carefully place the platter onto the spindle.
  2. Locate the drive belt. Gently stretch the belt around the inner rim of the platter and then around the motor pulley. Ensure the belt is not twisted.

3. Ročica in kartuša

The Ortofon OM NN cartridge is pre-mounted and aligned at the factory. No further adjustment is typically required for initial setup. Ensure the stylus guard is removed before playing a record.

4. Zvočne povezave

The Primary E Phono features a built-in phono preamplifier, allowing you to connect it directly to a line-level input on your amplifier or active speakers. It also has a switch to bypass the internal phono stage if you prefer to use an external one.

  • Connect the supplied RCA audio cable from the turntable's output jacks to an available input on your amplifier (e.g., "AUX", "CD", "Line In").
  • Ensure the "PHONO OUT / LINE OUT" switch on the rear of the turntable is set correctly:
    • Nastavite na LINE OUT if connecting to a standard line-level input (using the internal phono stagin).
    • Nastavite na PHONO IZHOD if connecting to an amplifier with a dedicated phono input (bypassing the internal phono stagin).

5. Napajalni priključek

Connect the power supply cable to the DC input on the turntable and then plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.

6. Pokrov za prah

Attach the dust cover to the hinges at the rear of the turntable. The dust cover protects the turntable from dust and debris when not in use.

Navodila za uporabo

1. Vklop/izklop

The turntable is powered on by plugging it into the mains. There is no separate power switch. To turn off, unplug the power supply.

2. Predvajanje plošče

  1. Postavite ploščo na krožnik.
  2. Select the correct playback speed (33 or 45 RPM) using the speed selector switch located on the top left of the plinth.
  3. Dvignite ročico tona z uporabo ročice za nastavitev tona.

Vzdrževanje

  • Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the plinth and dust cover. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • For the platter, use a slightly damp po potrebi obrišite s krpo, nato pa temeljito posušite.

2. Nega pisala

  • Regularly clean the stylus using a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing gently from back to front.

3. Pogonski jermen

Periodically inspect the drive belt for any signs of wear, stretching, or cracking. A worn belt can affect playback speed stability. Replace the belt if necessary.
