- Prepare meat by cutting it into pieces that fit easily into the feed chute. Remove any bones, gristle, or tough connective tissue to prevent clogging.

- Attach the salad maker kit with the desired drum.
- Feed vegetables or hard cheeses into the chute.
- Use the food pusher to guide ingredients through the rotating drum for slicing, shredding, or julienning.
Extruding Pastry:
- Assemble the grinder with the pastry shaper.
- Prepare dough according to your recipe.
- Feed the dough into the chute. The pastry shaper allows for extrusion in star, square, round, diamond, and flat shapes.
